Digging Deeper Day 23

As followers of Christ we are called to be people of truth. Now some would say that there is big TRUTH (JESUS) and little truth (simply things that are true). The truth is that all TRUTH comes from the Lord. (Big and Little) We are to be people of TRUTH, period.

Legendary expressions like “half-truths” do not exist. There is nothing half-way about truth, ever. Since all Truth come from the perfect Christ, “half-truths” do not exist. What do we mean by the term “half-truth?” It usually refers to a time when a part of the truth is withheld, usually for “noble” or “protective” purposes. The truth is, however, that a “half-truth” is really a lie. “Half-truths” always damage and destroy, but the “truth will set you free.” (Both big and little truth!)

Yes, it is true that many times the truth hurts. But, the end result is always freedom. No hiding in the shadows, no fear of being found out, just truth, light, and beautiful freedom.

Do you have any “lies” in your life? Are there any “half-truths” lurking in the shadows? Bring them out in the light and let the “Truth set you free.”

Love is truth and Love Wins!!!
