Digging Deeper Day 25

The greeting most used in the Old Testament was “Shalom” or peace. Almost every epistle in the New Testament starts and ends with a pronouncement of “grace and peace.” Over 50 times in the New Testament God is referred to as a “God of Peace.” Since He is the “God of Peace” we must be the people of peace. People who do not like controversy and conflict, but pursue peace. As our Lord Jesus, the “Prince of Peace” says: “blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” Do you live like a Son or Daughter of God?
